We came to school in pajamas. We went to the Center Room to watch Polar Express, eat popcorn, and drink hot cocoa. Then we went to our room for a Happy Birthday Jesus party. I made owl hats for the girls and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle hats for the boys. My K5 nappers were more excited about the hats than the younger students. All of my kids heard the bells. ;)

Grinch Party
We had green snack items while watching the Grinch cartoon.
We listened to the story and discussed how Christmas is about the birth of Jesus and how we give gifts as a symbol of the Greatest Gift.
Check out our Grinch masks.

*Tuesday, December 18th -Christmas Play @ 6:00p.m. In the church sanctuary. Our class will perform before the school play and then go to sit with their parents. We are making angel Christmas t-shirts to wear that night. Please feel free to put a long sleeve shirt (polo, turtle neck, or t-shirt) under this shirt. Please stick to solid colors or white. We will wear blue jeans. I do not care if they are light, dark, skinny, or flared as long as they are blue.
*Thursday, December 20th - food and drink for party is due
*Friday, December 21st – Christmas Party! Wear pajamas for Polar Express activities. Happy Birthday Jesus party. The students will not draw names for gifts. I will have gifts for them. You are welcome to buy for the students but it is not required or expected. If you send gifts for all of the students I will let your child pass them out during the party. I will put the gifts in the backpack of the student you send gifts to if you send for less than the whole class.
