Bookmarks for Parents
I made these to put in the information folders I give parents at Parent Orientation. I have seen these on Pinterest. I got the pdf from Jonnelle at A Place Called Kindergarten. I just printed them on cardstock, cut, hole-punched, and added ribbon.

Classroom Makeover Planning
I am doing a classroom makeover. I decided to go ahead and do it now. Prospective students and parents tour the school during summer. Another plus will be organization time during in-service. I can't wait to have it ready.
Teachers are always tweaking their classroom. This is especially true after the first year in a grade or room. Some things can be changed during the year and others require some downtime. I have a VERY small room. It is the closest to the bathrooms (very important with K3) so I am stuck with it. I have been searching Pinterest and brainstorming for the first half of the summer. Now it is time for action!
I teach at a private school. First impressions are very important. Right now all of my stuff is off the wall and things are stacked-up. Parents and students will only see the toys. I want them to know that our class is about much more than toys.
The past two classes I have had were set-up in a hurry. I would love to have my classroom ready to go. Then, I can spend my in-service time labeling with students names and organizing curriculum.
I will post pictures, tutorials, and links as I go. After I post the information, I would love constructive comments.
